The Painter - Spoken Word poetry about Creativity, being Unique and asse...

The Painter is a Spoken Word or poetry piece about Creativity, being Unique and assertive. (June 2020)

I feel like this poem answers so many questions about many channel. It speaks to so many things I'd like to address, it's a part of a process that helps me deal with my feelings, anxiety and different aspects of my growth. I hope if you're a creative person something within it resonates with you.

#ThePainter #SpokenWord #Poetry

I'm a painter with a paintbrush
You don't tell me what to paint
You've seen me make masterpieces
never once did you complain
I can capture lots of details
depict a human face
turn the vaguest of landscapes
into a recognizable place
there's no limit to the different kinds of art
I can create
you should see me in the kitchen
serving art up on a plate
you and your numbers don't decide
If I'm good, better, best or great
that's your opinion
keep it to yourself
if you ain't got nothing good to say
Does my hip hop Boom Bap
Click clack, do you get it?
Is my reggae bass line heavy, with that skengae skengae?
I'm saying, you got some fucking nerve you lot
trying to categorize me and put me in a box
I'll be free til they put me in a box eee uhh
or til I'm in an urn cos I'd rather be cremated
put my ashes in a weed plant
so one day again we can faded
I was born into an inheritance of greatness
a tradition of musicians and excellent orators
I'm an instrument for the universe, one song
you think that you can tell that energy how to play me?
or how to manifest all the things that I'm creating?
That's above your pay grade
please return to your station
talking about my art,
haven't you got something you should be painting?
I'm human, all my feelings are real
I'm not a saint
I'm a painter with a paintbrush
you don't tell me what to paint

#LondonrealArmy Rose Icke 3 Reaction - The Sheep Production Line and the...

I'm enjoying the content from Brian Rose and feeling like a part of the #LondonrealArmy
I watched Rose Icke 3 live and wanted to provide some form of reaction -
I understand that everyone experiences the world differently and those experiences shape our reality. So we really do live in a completely different reality from many of the people we disagree with. For example my TV is either used as a video monitor or for playing Xbox but never for watching football or a TV show, the news is never watched and newspapers are for lining the food waste bin. SO if you actually watch TV, read the papers or enjoy binge watching series, which I have very little part in these days, we do in fact occupy very different realities. We would experience the exact same brain activity in attempting to learn to juggle. Many people run screaming from this challenge while I walk towards it with a smile and master 3 balls, then 4 and get to work on five balls. The ways in which we are not the same are many, but then there are also plenty of ways in which we are the same and we are one.
Today I cover a number of topics from The Sheep Production Line, the human machine connection, fathers rights issues and corruption in the third world to the transformation of Slavery.
My views are often not for the faint hearted.

So this video is about How To Take Basil Cuttings, I also cover how I make a DIY propagator and you can use this method again and again to have an infinite supply of Basil growing. No fancy chemicals or instruments, just honey, a cutting instrument and some water. Then an empty plastic bottle for the propagator.

Update on the box in my garden! The first potato has reached the surface

So around 17 days ago I made a box in my garden to plant some potatoes.
Today I see one of the plants has made it to the surface and decided to post a quick update!

The original video is at
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FRPYIdXKjw&t=159s

With the world coming to an end and all, serious times require serious measures. Growing your own food is like printing your own money, I really love that idea. I also love the idea of upcycling so I walked up and down my street looking in people's gardens until I found the appropriate trash for creating my treasure. I found some discarded floorboards and a few bits of wood, got my tools out and got to work. I get caught watching these videos of these guys building houses from nothing in the wilderness and while this isn't exactly that, it's something like it. I added some music and narration too. Hope you enjoy it and if you do, remember to like the video and subscribe to the channel. Thanks

Introduction to the Six Pillars of Self Esteem, read by a real person. H...

I began making a playlist, my intention is to do more videos about self esteem, read the entire book in videos and talk about it, break it down and make it easier to understand and more relatable.
Some of my people might not read the book, but may listen to me reading the 6 pillars of self esteem. I think this information is powerful and important to get out there. Normally my reading pattern is 10 pages a day. I think my pattern for delivering content will be different. This video is almost half an hour of me just reading, I want to take smaller chunks so I can break them down and talk about them in the Future. I am not a trained mental health professional. I am not a psychologist or psychotherapist, just a person with a great interest in self esteem. We all have to start somewhere though. Hope you enjoy!

" My experience is that most people underestimate their power to change and grow. They believe implicitly that yesterdays pattern must be tomorrow's. They do not see choices that - objectively - do exist. They rarely appreciate how much they can do on their own behalf if genuine growth and higher self esteem are their goals and if they are willing to take responsibility for their own lives. The belief that they are powerless becomes a self fulfilling prophecy"
Quoted from Nathaniel Branden - The Six Pillars Of Self Esteem

Growing your own food is like printing your own money! Urban Gardening -...

Today I made a box in my friends garden to plant some potatoes. Having seen my previous video he had some bits prepared and we had the time, so we decided to make the box and the video.
With the world coming to an end and all, serious times require serious measures. Growing your own food is like printing your own money, I really love that idea. I also love the idea of upcycling too, so we had an old piece of scaffolding board and got to work with it. We both get caught watching these videos of these guys building houses from nothing in the wilderness and while this isn't exactly that, it's something like it. It's us doing some urban gardening and planting potatoes in a box in a garden. In London, England. South east London. Anyway I added some music and narration too. Hope you enjoy it and if you do, remember to like the video and subscribe to the channel. Thanks

Metropolis from Foreign Beggars reported dead. 19th April 2020 - R.I.P Ebow Enyan Graham.

https://www.facebook.com/foreignbeggars/?epa=SEARCH_BOX

Today I got a call about the announcement made above on the Foreign Beggars page about the passing of Ebow also known as Metropolis.
I still can't believe I'm making a video about this or writing a description. From who I have spoken to and what I can gather, it's real and many of us have a lot of questions, but now is not the time to ask them.
There is a fund raising page for his son Cassius, if you would like to make a donation.

Thanks

90% of my subscribers are real humans, why it's important to acknowledge that in social distancing. Because the social distancing is like a war on love, on friendship, on being connected, so making connections in these times are close to an act of civil disobedience. So I like to big up the subscribers that I can see as often as I can. I recently hit 1500 subscribers which was a milestone for me and I really just wanted to express my gratitude and talk about where the channel is coming from and where the channel is going.
I talk about some of the videos that started the channel, some of the equipment I use and some new equipment I've been getting in and trying out different types of content. I also cover some of the new supplements I got in to keep myself feeling healthy and good. Please if you connect with any of the material here, drop a comment, like the video and subscribe to my channel. I'd really appreciate that.
One Love

SOUNDKILLAZ MUSIC DID THE EXIT ADVENTURE!

This year EXIT Festival in Serbia and its sister festival SEA DANCE which took place for the 2nd time at the seaside in Budva, Montenegro recorded its highest ever turn out. SoundKillaz Music members Rivah Jordan and Matthew Radics were there as resident representatives on the Reggae Stage.
Unlike previous years the overall musical representation on the stage that has built a cult following among regular patrons, was much more diverse. Representing the growth and influence Reggae music has had on the musical styles now popular in North America and Europe, a wide variety of Reggae and Reggae based music was in session for the 12 hours a day the stage was active.
From the more classic sounds of Lovers Rock, One Drop and Dub to the more hyper sounds of Hip Hop, Dubstep and Danehall, party goers were treated to high energy sets from the DJ's from sun down to sunrise. A team of vocal performers delivered live PA's at the nightly showtime and could be seen teaming up with the DJ's for impromptu freestyle sessions which the audience always loved.
The legendary Weny Wadada and his Positive Vibration Movement assembled at showtime to deliver their collaborative sets featuring singers from Jamaica, The UK and home country Serbia. Having recovered from a recent illness Wenty took to the stage to display the healing powers of Reggae music and didn't disappoint his many fans.
Other PVM members Ana Perisic and Deepstoned displayed their obvious vocal talents excellently and showed their genuine star qualities. From the UK; Tony 'Terror' Douglas of Terror Tone beautifully delivered smooth classic concious Reggae while deejay Daddy Ranx excited the crowd with his lyrical brilliance. Brothers Cold Fever and Hype Hyphen burned the place down with their unique Desi - Reggae and tight high energy performances while hard core hip hop from London rapper Keys was loved by the crowd who ate up her powerful delivery and sharp lyrics every time she exploded onto the stage. Matthew Radics and Rivah Jordan delivered tracks from their latest albums The One Eye Man EP and Hustlers World in their usual high energy dancehall style. They also treated the audience to a freestyle set as the brothers, together on stage went back to back spitting bars and singing hooks and getting the whole place jumping! Singer Don Minott also lit up the stage with an amazing performance backed by JahMessenJah Sound System and an excellent solo set.
The majority of the DJ sets were filled by Balkan based DJ's and Selectors whose skill and knowledge displayed the profound power and reach Reggae has internationally. Dj's like BBC Asian Network's Yasser Ranjha, Mak Floss, Chay Nelle, DJ Wieyne, Hype Hyphen and Soundkillaz Int. were there to represent the UK and Jamaica. I have to give a personal shout out to DJ's from Serbia and Montenegro who's sets I remember really enjoying as there were many who all contributed to a great atmoshpere. Big up to S. Alcapone, Dada Selectah, Irie Revolution Sound, JahMessenJah Sound, Herbal Queen, Zgoobi Dan, Superstar Selector and Pushta G and every performer that took part. Special thanks and love to all the people who came by to watch and party with us. Much love to the sound and security and management crews and all the people made it an amazing show and asked us to come again.

Matthew Radics and the team at SoundKillaz Music have been busy in 2015. Recently Radics collaborated with exciting film maker Bipolar Spider to make the video for his latest single and title track of his recent EP: The One Eye Man.
Cousins; Radics and Bipolar Spider grew up together in Jamaica and moved to London around the same time. Despite their many shared interests it is only recently they have begun working together creatively on a few film projects. Individually their creative pursuits are beginning to get noticed with Bipolar Spider making noise as a director on the grime scene with Jamma's Royal Rumble video among others to his name.
Matthew Radics previously released video single: Break Her Heart which was shot and edited by CaptureHouse Ldn. He is also scheduled to be performing along with brother Rivah Jordan on a few festivals in Europe this summer including Exit Festival and Sea Dance in Serbia and Montenegro.
The pair are planning on shooting a third single from the EP once Radics returns from tour so those who enjoyed their collaboration can look forward to more later this year.
The video is for the EP's title track: 'The One Eye Man' and is out now on Soundkillaz Music and available at all good digital music outlets. A politically inspired track over an electronic hip hop beat produced by London based beat maker Whodiniz.

Blazing Fire Day 3

Ok its day 3 of the burning fire, but i have been considering this post since last night, this morning it was raining, but i went out and took some dry wood and put it on the ashes from last night, and soon we were up and running again! Just had to fan the fire a little.  (side note : It is no longer raining.)
I have been watching from last night how the bark of the wood, even though designed to resist the elements and protect the trunk, seems more flammable and less resistant to the heat and the fire, i guess it is dry and has been cut up and stacked for some time, anyway i can find many metaphors to connect with this.
Last night i was playing with the notion that these are like different types of people, some take after the bark and some the trunk, those who take after the bark will be more interested in the qualities and the strengths of the outside and the outside appearance, and will be dependent of the bark to protect whatever is inside, which they are probably not putting that much attention or energy to strengthening, as they are too preoccupied maintaining the outward appearance for others too see.
The bark however is a lot more easily destroyed than the trunk, just as the conceptions of  this person shall be, following this whatever is inside will then be revealed, to good effect or bad. Normally the lack of strength inside will generally mean the bark is even weaker and more easily broken, and it is to a bad effect more times than good.
Those who take after the trunk will be naturally stonger, being interested in the qualities and the strengths of the inside and the inside appearance, and will not be so worried about the bark, knowing it can and will be damaged to reveal what is inside, and knowing that they put energy and attention to the strength inside, which will also make the bark outside stronger as they gain inner strength.
This is the way most tree's grow, tree's that fit the first description normally are sick, rotting or dying.
The 2nd is a more balanced and natural way to persue.
Then something else occurred to me, the bark is more like the defensive walls we put up to protect the person inside, and in the case that person inside has been neglected and the core is not stronger as it naturally should be, when the bark comes down........................ either way both trunk and bark turn to ash when met with fire, one just lasts longer than the other and the race is not for the swift.
